Countdown to pub day…

This has been an interesting journey—from landing my first book deal for my debut novel, The Day I Died Again, to starting over when my publisher closed their doors indefinitely back in April. At first, I was stunned, lost, and quite frankly, disappointed. It felt good to be seen, and it felt good to know that someone was willing to take a chance on me and my book. But I quickly picked myself back up and realized that I am the one who needs to take a chance on myself. That’s when I decided not to query the book again, instead, I would self-publish.

I didn’t want you all to wait to meet my FMC, Jordan O’Neill; I wanted you all to meet her on my terms. This book has been a labor of love, and I’m ready to share it with the world. Please know that I am typing this today because I have an excellent support system— from my family to my beta readers, and to my editor and book designer, who has self-published 17 of her own books. Her expertise, talent, and guidance has been invaluable.

Pre-orders are now live (which is exciting in itself!), and I am eagerly counting down the days until October 13th. I hope you come along for the journey, and just know I appreciate every one of you who has shown your support. It means everything to this author.
